ICT Systems Manager
Hours: 36 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. 26 days p/a annual leave entitlement, increasing to 29 days after 5 years of service.
Grade: SO1 points 23 - 25
Salary: £30,585 to £31,557 p.a.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic ICT Systems Manager with responsibility for the efficient and effective day to day running of the school’s ICT system. The school uses a variety of educational software and IT platforms which include SIMS, Google Classroom and Microsoft Office.
Successful candidates will have:
- Proven IT skills to include hardware and software installation, upgrade and maintenance
- The ability to support others and work as part of a team
- Proven record of developing and maintaining efficient IT systems ideally in a school setting
- Line management/supervisory experience
- Proven hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting experience
- Good understanding of the impact of Health and Safety and Data Protection legislation in the context of ICT
- High level of team, interpersonal and communication skills
- A logical, calm, organised approach to problem solving
- The ability to manage time effectively, delegating tasks as appropriate, multitasking and working to tight deadlines
- A high level of initiative, enthusiasm and willingness to work in a collaborative manner
The Royal Liberty School is a small, comprehensive, 11-16 school for boys. We occupy a Grade II* listed building on a very pleasant site. As part of the Priority Schools Building Programme and Local Authority expansion we will be undergoing a full refurbishment of the school, due to be ready for September 2021, this is an exciting time to join our team.
