Bower Park Academy is looking to appoint a Science Technician

To start September 2018 or sooner if available

Grade: APTC 2 - Point 11-13 (Full time salary: £19,896- £19,935. Pro rata salary: £14,086 - £14,114)

Hours: 30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year


Bower Park Academy is an 11-16 co-educational school with 800 pupils on roll. Bower Park is part of the Empower Academy Trust providing staff with fantastic CPD opportunities and shared practices across the Trust. We are seeking to appoint an outstanding science technician who is able to support teachers and the senior science technician. If you are passionate about making a difference to the life chances of our students and have ambition to help educate students then we would welcome your application.

The successful applicant will:

  • Be a committed practitioner who is able to work as part of a team
  • Have experience of working with children in a school environment for 11-16 years of age 
  • Good communication skills
  • Is flexible, hardworking, patient and caring
  • Experience of role.
