Midday Assistant

Hours: 5 hour 25 minutes per week (1 hour 05 minutes per day - 11.40am – 12.45pm). Monday to Friday - term time only (38 weeks)

Salary: Grade 1/2 Point 3. £20,835 Full time annual salary, £2,593 Actual pro rata annual salary.

Contract: Fixed Term until 31 August 2020

Start Date: Required from September 2019

 

We are looking for a Midday Assistant to work with a child who needs additional support at lunchtime. Previous experience working with children with special educational needs would be an advantage but is not essential.

 

You will report directly to our Midday Supervisor and must be able to work effectively as part of a team. You should be flexible, punctual and able to deal with all matters in a fair and consistent manner. You should be caring, approachable, have a positive outlook and the ability to work in a calm manner at all times. 

 

The position is subject to an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure check. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
