SEND Keyworker
Hours: 27.5 hours per week;
38 weeks per year, term time only
5 days per week, 8.30 am to 3.00 pm, inclusive of two 30-minute unpaid breaks
Salary: APTC 2 Points 3-4
Actual salary: £13,155 per annum, inclusive of 5.1 paid week’s holiday
Contract: Permanent

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team of SEND Keyworkers. You will work closely with subject teachers and the school SENDCo to support and guide students in their learning outcomes.
The main focus in lessons will be literacy and numeracy. In addition to in-class support, you will hold weekly one to one academic mentoring sessions with the student you key work.
You will need to be flexible and have excellent inter-personal and communication skills. You will need to demonstrate competence in supporting students within a learning environment to encourage them to achieve and make good progress.
We would welcome your application if you have experience of comparable paid employment in a secondary school setting or hold an NVQ2 or equivalent qualification.
