Swimming Assistant
Based at Corbets Tey school Site
Grade: APTC Scale 3, Point 5
Salary: £21,591 pro rata to number of hours worked.
Hours: 16 hours per week.
Flexible hours to be agreed including daytime, after schools sessions from 3.30pm to 4.30pm and some weekend work
Start: As soon as possible.
Contract: Permanent.
This successful school is based in a superb environment with attractive grounds with supportive governors and very special pupils.
The school hydrotherapy swimming pool provides timetabled swimming sessions to school students during the school day and after school sessions for children and young people with additional needs who attend other schools in Havering. We also run a session on Saturdays for adults with physical and leaning needs. We require a swimming assistant to work closely with the swimming teacher to deliver these sessions.
They should be committed to maintaining and developing their expertise in supporting children and young people to develop their swimming skills and physical strength, coordination and exercise.
