Join a rapidly improving Academy which has gone from special measures to good in 15 months and is now on track to achieve outstanding in the next two years. Bower Park Academy is a popular oversubscribed 11-16 co-educational school with 850 pupils on roll that’s wants to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic head of Maths to lead a thriving department. Maths results have been strong and the department is ambitious to see them improve even further to make them outstanding. The successful candidate will be instrumental in achieving that transformation and securing outstanding outcomes for students in Maths.

The GCSE Maths results in 2019 were above national average for Grade 4, Grade5 and Grade 7, and if you are passionate about leading a strong team who work collaboratively together and have ambition to drive the department to outstanding, then this post provides an exciting opportunity and we would be very interested to hear from you.
