Bursar

Hours: 35 hours per week/41 weeks per year (term time plus 2)

Part time hours to be considered.

Salary: PO2 points 29-32. Actual Salary of £29,427-£31,824 p.a. (FTE £33,945-£36,711 p.a.)

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Bursar required for a large primary School.

We are looking to appoint a Full time/Part time school Bursar to support and advise the head teacher and governors in the monitoring of all the school budgets and accounts.

Do you have a background or experience in the financial sector?

If yes, then this may be the role for you!

A large and friendly primary school, are looking to appoint a School Bursar to start in September 2020. The successful applicant will have previous school experience, (including HR, facilities, finance, governance, attendance, record keeping etc), be proficient in Integris, FMS and ideally have worked in a primary school setting.

The role will involve running the day to day financial management of a busy school office.

This is initially a temporary post, with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.

Main Job Responsibilities:

- Providing excellent financial and administrative services to the school

- Maintaining accurate computerised records and systems for pupils and staff

- Oversee invoices, purchase orders, reconciliations, and school fund management

- Experience handling data and data protection regulations
